about two hours north of midtown Manhattan via the scenic Taconic Parkway.
Metro-North runs hourly trains from Grand Central Terminal
along the riverside to nearby Poughkeepsie Station.

We are on a quaint lane leading down to the river,
in a National and State Historic District. We are close to town,
but in an uncongested area of fields, woods, and wildlife.
